Mix Mica Powder With Liquid Mod Podge

One of the easiest ways to color your Mod Podge is to mix mica powder into the glue before you apply it to your craft. Pour your desired amount of Mod Podge into a cup or bowl. Then, dump 1/2 a teaspoon of mica powder in and mix it thoroughly. Make sure to scrape the sides so that you incorporate all the powder. If you want a richer color, add more mica powder. If you need a thinner mixture, add one teaspoon of water at a time and mix thoroughly.

Brush Mica Powder on Top of Painted Mod Podge

Some people prefer to paint layers of Mod Podge onto their craft before adding the colorant. That’s OK. Simply paint your desired number of layers onto your craft. Then, pour your desired mica powder color onto the wet Mod Podge, tapping off the excess powder before it dries.
