EPOXY RATIOS
The most common question that we receive is "How much per gallon of epoxy?". This is a very valid question and unfortunately there is no set answer due to the numerous types of applications and variations.
For our pigment pastes it takes only a little to color the epoxy resin!
For example:
- Are you looking for an opaque or transparent look?
- Lighter colors may take more pigment to achieve the color.
CUSTOMIZE YOUR OWN COLORS
You can create your own unique color blends by mixing our pigment paste colors together. For example, use our Satori White and Kokuyo Black pastes to create a grey and so on!
Do you want some metallic in your paste color? Our pigments and pastes work well together. Feel free to add a pigment powder to your paste until you achieve the desired look.

It's basically a color management system used in Europe that is created and administered by Germany.

Pantone conversion system is mainly used by graphic designers for color graphic printing. The PMS color conversion chart allows designers to "color match". RAL Effect comprises of 420 solid colors and 70 metallic colors which are represented by a unique code.

Use Just a Little to Start: Our pigment pastes are really strong in color, so you don't need much. When mixing with a gallon of epoxy (which is about 8-9 pounds), begin with just a bit of paste - around 1.3 to 4.3 ounces should be enough. That's somewhere between half and just over two of our 3 oz. containers.
Try Small Tests First: Before mixing a big batch, do a small test. This way, you can see how the color turns out without using too much of your materials. Add the pigment slowly and see how the color develops.
Mix It Well: Make sure you mix the pigment paste thoroughly with the epoxy. You want the color to be even without any streaks.
For Less Color, Use Less Paste: If you want the color to be more see-through (translucent), use just a tiny amount of the paste.
Don’t Add Too Much: Putting in too much pigment can change how the epoxy works, so add the pigment carefully.
Follow the Instructions: If there are any specific instructions from the pigment maker, be sure to follow them, as they know their product best.
Remember, the way pigment and epoxy mix can vary, so it’s good to experiment a bit to get the color just right for your project.

Love this past makes excellent waves
This is a beautiful color and is a must have for all artist. This paste is high quality and very concentrated doesn't take much at all to get full coverage. I use this white a lot in my resin work and this lasts a long time. When this goes on sale it is a MUST to stock up on so I never run low because I am dependent on this color to create beautiful, balanced pieces with depth. This stuff goes a long way. The first time I used this I "THOUGHT" I was just using a little white. Just enough to light the bright blue and make it solid. Nope that little bit became baby blue. I think this one jar will last me forever. Great stuff!
So far, this is the whitest white I've found! No yellow tones. Very easy to use and produces consistent results. Loved it so much I bought black later, which is also amazing.

Love my Eyecandy Pigments! I have been an artist for over 40 years and have tried almost all the pigments on the market. Eyecandy pigments are the best hands-down! This pigment is crazy potent. A tiny bit goes a long way. I stirred the paste with a wooden craft stick, wiped almost all off the stick and used it to tint resin. I can't believe how much color I got from that tiny bit! In fact, it was more than I wanted, lol. I'll know better next time. Definitely worth the money.

I mostly make jewelry so I only ever need the tiniest bit. It was really easy to work with and had great opaqueness. I was really happy to find a flat white pigment instead of the pearl or satin looking ones.

I needed a very opaque white pigment and chose this one based on the pictures from other reviews. It didn’t disappoint. I mixed a bit with clear UV resin and it cures very white and opaque.I recommend wearing gloves when handling it as if you get some on you, it’s very hard to clean off. (Which is good)
