CALCULATIONS FOR MIXING OF OUR PIGMENTS
This is the most frequently question asked and rightfully so!! Unfortunately there's no standard calculation when mixing pigments due to the numerous applications, and mediums that our pigments can be used with. I.E. Automotive, Epoxy, Resin, Slime, Candles, Soaps, Fishing Lures, Woodworking, Pen Blanks, Acrylic, Varnish, Clay, Grout, Flooring, Countertops, Cosmetics, Fingernail Polish, etc. the list goes on.
Other factors are based on the customer. What is the desired look that you're trying to achieve, opaque or transparency?
Our standard for epoxy resin or automotive has been (1) container of our 50 gram pigment powder for every gallon. But, we have seen customers use MUCH less!!
Starting out with 1g of pigment per 8 oz would be a safe start while adding more pigment as needed to achieve your desired outcome.

I haven’t used all the colors, but the ones I used are really beautiful. Wish they didn’t come in baggies though, hard to zip shut after opening.
Great product
If you are looking for bright colourful blue mica pigments you need look ko further. These are first class. Just wish the company would put the powder in self contained pots with screw fix lids rather than plastic sachets . That said, the pigments are WOW in resin.

Can't say enough about how beautiful every single color is and the quality of their packaging and nice little extras they put in! I bought the purple sampler, the red sampler, the green sampler, and the blue sampler. Two Ackles came with extra stir sticks, one package came with a beautiful catalog, and another package came with a big sticker lol. They have a nice affiliate program too!I bought the full size 50 gram in lots of colors too!

Bought this sample pack because I needed different shades of blue for an epoxy project I did and it was great. Turned out exactly how I wanted. I think there are a lot of blues available from eye candy but this really helped narrow things down.

BEAUTIFUL COLORS, VERY HIGH-QUALITY, . THE BLUES ARE AMAZING. WILL BE ORDERING MORE. USING ON THE GUITAR, BUT WILL BE USING THEM WITH MY OTHER ART AS WELL. ITVWORKS WITH WATER AND ALCOHOL, BUT SPRAY VARNISH IS NEEDED AS A FINAL COAT.

This is a really great assortment of blues. Plenty of variety, super easy to use, rich pigment colorant and good packaging. There's plenty of each color to use for a long time and the pigment is very rich so you don't need much at all. Nothing bad to say about them, I'll likely buy other color sets.

Perfect was to sample range of blues. Bags are a pain vs jars but they are double bagged so no worry of mess. A little goes a long way.

I love these pigments and all the different color options. I, like many other people, do not like that they come in baggies instead of containers, but I bought little containers off of Amazon on here to put the pigments in. Happy surprise is the labels that come on at the eye candy pigment bags peel right off to be able to put on the containers! Another bonus is the varies are double bagged which means you can repurpose the clean one.And the photo card that they included in the packaging of this guy makes me so happy that I put him up on the wall in my workspace to bring me joy. Just ordered a bunch more.
