STIR WELL BEFORE USE!

We introduced this red with sports teams in mind. Although the pictures and videos seem as a bright red, you can add more pastes to slightly darken it. This red pigment paste would also work wonderfully for those American flag projects!

Find out why our pigment pastes are the top selling pastes / dyes on Amazon and used by thousands of customers.

Whether you are wanting an opaque or translucent look, these pastes are made just for that.

Our pigment pastes are resin based and made ONLY for epoxy resin projects!!

Ingredients - All items withheld as Trade Secret by manufacturer.

Size - 2 oz.

Red Tide - RAL 3002

Our Eye Candy Pigment Pastes will be based of the RAL color system. Some colors will be Pantone.

Use Just a Little to Start: Our pigment pastes are really strong in color, so you don't need much. When mixing with a gallon of epoxy (which is about 8-9 pounds), begin with just a bit of paste - around 1.3 to 4.3 ounces should be enough. That's somewhere between half and just over two of our 2 oz. containers.

Try Small Tests First: Before mixing a big batch, do a small test. This way, you can see how the color turns out without using too much of your materials. Add the pigment slowly and see how the color develops.

Mix It Well: Make sure you mix the pigment paste thoroughly with the epoxy. You want the color to be even without any streaks.

For Less Color, Use Less Paste: If you want the color to be more see-through (translucent), use just a tiny amount of the paste.

Don’t Add Too Much: Putting in too much pigment can change how the epoxy works, so add the pigment carefully.

Follow the Instructions: If there are any specific instructions from the pigment maker, be sure to follow them, as they know their product best.

Remember, the way pigment and epoxy mix can vary, so it’s good to experiment a bit to get the color just right for your project.

It's basically a color management system used in Europe that is created and administered by Germany.

This could be due to using too much paste compared to the amount of epoxy resin used. Reminder, it takes only a small amount of paste to achieve color. This doesn't happen often if any at all but this paste MUST be used / mixed with epoxy resin and not by itself in order for it to dry.

DO NOT USE! Our Pigment Pastes are resin based and designed specifically for epoxy rein projects.

Love Eye Candy Pigments and Micas

I have been using Eye Candy Pigment Pastes for over a year. They are top of the line in pigmented paste! Many have tried to copy, but these pigments never fall short and save you money because of their dense pigmentation. A little goes a long way! I am so happy they have come out with all of the new paste colors so I can use them in all my designs for canvas, wood and metal. I also use their micas and wow! The countless colors available and intensity of shimmer stands out like no other!

Awesome!

I am in love with everything "eyecandy!" But these pigment pastes are the BEST I have ever used! You get so much pigmentt paste and you barely have to use any at all to get a deep rich color! I will never go back to anyone else!!!!

Great option for solid color in resin projects

I've done a few projects using resin and the various pigment powders that are available, those are great but don't always provide the result I'm looking for. I wanted something that produces a solid color without any shimmer. I started looking at various inks but most of those that I found create a transparent effect when what I wanted was something completely opaque. I picked up the Red Tide paste as an experiment and it produced exactly the look I was trying to achieve. Very happy with the ease of use and the end result, looking forward to picking up more colors.

Perfect crimson for U of A project.

Made a cutting board as a gift for an University of Alabama graduate. Cut out the Alabama A and filled with Lets Resin epoxy. Added in the 2 parts and the eye candy red, mixed and got an almost perfect Alabama Crimson.
